Matt Jaworowski is a proven operator specializing in sustainable technologies, regulatory affairs, and strategic economic development initiatives. His career has focused on advancing innovative policies and fostering stakeholder engagement at all levels of government. For the IU LAB, Matt develops and implements the LAB’s strategic initiatives and programmatic goals, with a keen focus on workforce initiatives for and fosters cross-functional collaboration. Matt furthers initiatives focused on organizational growth and commercialization efforts.
Most recently having served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Manager, Interagency Affairs at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), Matt oversaw strategic planning, interagency collaborations, and community development initiatives while driving organizational KPIs. Prior to that, Matt worked with the external affairs and policy team for the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. There, he oversaw the legislative process for the Commission's first agency bill in over 30 years. Additionally, Matt spent time with the General Assembly where he worked within the legislative operations division for the Indiana House of Representatives.
Matt and his wife, Karrigan, have two young children and reside in Fishers, where they both attended high school. They enjoy day trips to Indiana's state parks and spending time with family located around Indianapolis.
