Any significant change to an existing animal care and use protocol must be reviewed and approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee prior to its implementation.
Similar to standard protocol review, amendments are pre-reviewed by administrative staff, then reviewed by the full committee or by one or more designated committee members. Amendments can be submitted at any time and must be approved before the work in the amendment may begin.
Submit changes to your existing protocol using the Track Changes function within Microsoft Word. Then send the edited document via email for consideration.
