Financial Audit Reports
IU financial audits reports
As a recipient of federally funded grants, Indiana University is required to provide financial and compliance information for all its federally funded grants. An audit is performed annually, in accordance with the federal Office of Management and Budget Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, 2 CFR Part 200 (referred to as Uniform Guidance), Subpart F. Uniform Guidance establishes audit requirements and defines federal responsibilities for implementing and monitoring requirements for institutions of higher education and other nonprofit organizations receiving federal awards.
To ensure program integrity, the federal government relies on audits performed by external, independent auditors who determine if the federally sponsored programs were administered in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
Audit reports can be accessed at the Federal Audit Clearinghouse.
