Yesterday, the Office for Research Administration (ORA) shared in an update that Indiana University had been unable to submit automatic No-Cost Extensions (NCE) to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in eRA Commons. As of today, eRA Commons is once again permitting submission of those NCEs. NIH has yet to issue any statement addressing this functionality; however, ORA has successfully submitted, and NIH has processed, all automatic NCE requests on hold at ORA due to the issues with the eRA Commons.
