As mentioned at the March 2024 RAT Meeting, the Subaward Request Form (SRF) used for requesting new subaward agreements has been updated to include:
- A new “Description of Data” box where a description of any applicable Human Subjects Data must be entered if the subaward will include the sharing of Human Subjects Data.
- A new “Required Document” (attachment) for a Data Management & Sharing Plan that must be included with your request anytime your National Institute of Health (NIH) award references an approved Data Management and Sharing Plan (DMSP).
The new form will be required for all new subaward requests starting immediately. You can access the new form on the Subaward Agreements page or the Forms page of the IU Research website.
This change only impacts the form for a “New Subaward”. The Subaward Request Form for requesting an “Amendment to Existing Subaward” has not been changed.
