The Proposal and Award Services staff within the Office of Research Administration (ORA) will be attending an all-day off-site retreat on Wednesday, November 9th. Administrative forms for any proposals with a deadline date of Wednesday, November 9th must be submitted and received in ORA by 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3rd in order to provide sufficient time for ORA staff to review and submit the proposals by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8th. Please be sure to keep this closure and the internal deadline policy in mind as you plan proposal submissions.
Requests for Advanced Accounts and submission of non-proposal items to sponsors, (such as JIT responses, progress reports, time extension requests, etc.) will not be responded to after noon on Tuesday, November 8th through end of the day on November 9th. Normal services for these items will resume on Thursday, November 10th.
If an emergency arises on November 9th that cannot wait, please email iuprop@iu.edu. An ORA staff member will be available, via email, to assess the situation and provide support if necessary. We appreciate your assistance and understanding.
