Bethan has served as assistant vice president of operations for IU Research since 2021. She joined IU Research in 2016 as chief of staff. Prior to working in IU Research, Bethan held roles in the IU Foundation Office of the President, the IU Foundation Principal Gifts Office, the Office of External Affairs Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Mississippi State University Office of Research, and the D.C. press office of U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, among others. She is a graduate of the Indiana University O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a masters degree in public affairs and of Hanover College with a bachelors degree in communications.
