Biography
Dan McNerny is a manager at the Indiana University Office of Innovation & Commercialization. He works to evaluate inventions, facilitate the patent process, prepare and negotiate licenses, and build relationships with university researchers and industry contacts. McNerny works predominantly with technologies developed at the IUPUI School of Engineering and Technology.
Prior to joining IU, McNerny was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan. His multidisciplinary research experience ranges from the design of polymeric vehicles for targeted drug delivery to the growth and characterization of carbon nanomaterials.
McNerny has a B.S. in chemical engineering and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan.
