    Biography

    In his capacity as associate vice president of research administration at Indiana University, Steve Martin is responsible for pre- and post-award sponsored programs administration. Martin began working for Indiana University in 1996. Prior to working for the Office of the Vice President for Research, he worked in Financial Management Services as director of contract and grant administration.

    Before coming to Indiana University, Martin worked for Newell Rubbermaid as a financial analyst and at Purdue University as a business administrator. His education includes a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from IU Bloomington and M.S. in Management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. Currently, Martin serves as IU’s primary representative to the Council on Government Relations and leads the Annual Big Ten Sponsored Research Meeting.
