Due to the September NIH proposal submission deadlines shifting to accommodate the unavailability Grants.gov and coupled with the traditional October 5th submission deadline, it is anticipated that NIH’s submission systems will be experiencing a higher volume of user traffic over the next several business days. It is critical that ORA has time to review complete packages prior to submission, which include receiving all final technical portions for proposals two (2) business days prior to the sponsor deadline in accordance with IU policy SPA-11-025. We strongly encourage earlier submission if possible.
With approximately 200 submissions already in-house due by close of business October 5th, ORA cannot guarantee late submissions will be accommodated. If you have questions about an upcoming submission or an assignment, please contact ORA. Thank you for your support and collaboration.
