Dear RAT members,
Having a ruff time coming up with answers to your sponsored programs questions? Come and join the DOG’s (Departmental Outreach Groups) and discover the paws-ibilities!
Please fur-give the bad puns. In all seriousness, ORA is forming several discussion groups of departmental researcher administrators from across the university to meet bi-monthly with leaders from ORA to discuss your questions and issues. It will be a great opportunity to learn and connect with others in the research administration community. No presentations, no PowerPoint slides, just discussion based on your questions and issues concerning pre-award and post-award matters. Our plan is to create around 6-8 separate groups for which the departmental participants are aligned along similar academic disciplines and funding types.
If you are interested, please click on the link below to sign-up. We will then contact you to let you know which group you will be assigned and the dates of future meetings. If you know of others in your department that are not on the RAT listserv but would be interested in joining, please share this announcement and signup link with them so they can join us.
I know this is a busy time a year for all of you but if possible, please submit prior to Friday, July 1 as we would like to start setting up meetings as soon as possible.
