Effective February 28, 2022, the National Science Foundation (NSF) will require the use of the new System for Award Management (SAM) issued Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in both the Research.gov and FastLane systems.
The UEI field will conveniently be pre-populated in both NSF systems. Please note that if your proposal has named subrecipients, the subrecipient’s UEI is also required as of February 28th, 2022.
