Today…KC IRB Phase II is Live!
Effective Monday, November 11, researchers will utilize the KC IRB system to submit all items to the IRB for review. Please continue to use KC IRB for all new protocol submissions and begin using KC IRB to submit post-approval actions. This includes renewals, amendments, non-key personnel updates, and FYIs (notifying the IRB of prompt reports and noncompliance, etc.). Email submissions will no longer be accepted. Study closures should still be submitted via email to irb@iu.edu. KC IRB may not be utilized to notify the IRB of study closure.

In addition, several improvements have occurred with this phase of the KC IRB implementation. Specifically, within the system itself, questions regarding Conflicts of Interest have moved to the Personnel tab. Further, the training guides have been updated to include graphics and a generally improved look and feel.
