NOT-OD-26-057: Publication of the Revised NIH Grants Policy Statement (Rev. March 2026) for Fiscal Year 2026
NIH has issued NOT-OD-26-057 announcing an updated Grants Policy Statement, which incorporates new and modified requirements, clarifies certain policies, and implements changes in statutes, regulations, and policies. This version of the NIHGPS consolidates all Guide Notices in effect as of March 17, 2026, and supersedes the April 2024 version of the NIHGPS.

NOT-OD-26-062: Prior Approval Requirement for Changes to Domestic Subawards
NIH has issued NOT-OD-26-062 effective June 1, 2026 indicating that all prime recipients will be required to obtain NIH prior approval to add a new domestic subaward to an awarded project if the subaward not originally a part of the peer-reviewed and approved application.
