Biography

Dr. Nicholas Hammond is Associate Vice President of Indiana University’s Innovation and Commercialization Office, where he leads efforts to connect IU inventors with partners and bring university discoveries to market. A seasoned leader in research commercialization and biotechnology, he has held senior roles at the American Dental Association Science & Research Institute, TeraImmune, Inc., and the University of Maryland. He also co-founded Ablitech, Inc., a biotech company developing gene-silencing drug delivery technologies. Dr. Hammond holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and a BS in Biology.
